Note about the Lehnert and Landrock pictures:

These are authentic Lehnert and Landrock "heliogravures" from the 1910s or the early 1920s.  They were printed in Leipzig, Germany, and all bear the blind stamp of an authentic Lehnert and Landrock print.
These are NOT MODERN REPRODUCTIONS!
They are NOT POSTCARDS.

It is believed the printing plates for these Tunisian, Moroccan and Algerian subjects were lost forever during the Allied bombardment of Germany in World War II.  The printing process is a copperplate halftone process.  Interestingly, the color plates seem to be hand-colored, or some kind of early lithographic color transfer process.  The negatives were definitely monochrome to begin with.  Sheet size approx. 9"X11.5", 23X30cm.  All are framed.
